Happy New Year!

The end of the year is a great time for self reflection. If you don't partake of this tradition, then I highly recommend starting, no matter how daunting it may seem. I love it so much, as it's a chance to look back on your goals and adjust them for the new year ahead. You learn a lot about what is and isn't possible, and how ambitious you were being in stating you'd definitely write three books that year.

After my own self reflection, I've decided my first resolution for this year is to start setting realistic ones. The last year was filled with so many unexpected set-backs on my writing journey, from delayed renovations, to the birth of my son, and unavoidable work commitments. So, to account for the unexpected, instead of three books, I'm now aiming to complete only the second book in the Aria Carmichael series (while secretly hoping to also complete the third). That sounds achievable, right? I hope so!

Some other resolutions for the new year include:

• Building my Patreon (if you're interested in early access to chapters, click here)

• Growing subscribers to my newsletter (for discounts and other early updates), and

• Gaining more followers on social media.

Long story short, this year for me is about growth. Let's see how well it goes, and good luck in setting your own resolutions.
